BSc (Biotechnology), MSc (Genetic Manipulation and Molecular Cell Biology)
I was born in Vapi, Gujrat, India in 1985. My father is a Physician and my mother is a home maker. I enjoy playing cricket, swimming and boxing. Other hobbies include cooking, reading and music.
I finished my matric in 2001 and my junior college in 2003. I then pursued my Bachelor’s in Biotechnology at Hislop College, Nagpur, affiliated to RTM Nagpur University. I went on to the University of Sussex, United Kingdom to do my MSc. I am currently a PhD student at the Hatter Cardiovascular Research Institute, University of Cape Town, South Africa.
I am currently working on setting up a model of acute heart failure and studying the molecular (SAFE) and metabolic pathways involved.
